President –Alex Pierson
I am returning to the Board of Directors after being Vice-President and President (1997-2000). I have been with TEMS since 1988 and am currently an ACP FTO on the response program. I have a broad background in teaching, the response program, Public Safety Unit and CBRN. I have held many positions on committees and working groups throughout my career with TEMS.
My goals during my term as President include improving communication with our membership and continuing to improve our working relationships with our various stake-holders

Vice President
– Tina Ross
Tina has been with team Toronto EMS since
2002. She began her career as a paramedic in Peel from 2000-2002.
Also worked for Sunnybrook Base Hospital from 2002-2005, and
served on the Toronto Police Marine unit special ops.
Tina is here to serve the members of the paramedic association
to improve communication and public knowledge of paramedics
as professionals.

Executive Secretary– Glen Gillies
Glen is a level 2 Paramedic and has been
with Toronto EMS since January 1990, he has served on numerous
committees, and action groups within the EMS community. Glen
has represented Toronto EMS as an A/R Supervisor, a founding
member of the Toronto EMS Honour Guard, member of the Employee
Assistance Team, and Shop Steward for NE Green. This is Glen’s
second term on the TPA Board, and he is working hard to improve
the Associations communications and membership accessibility.
He’s currently assigned to 44 stn. Yellow, and can be

Director of Public Relations
– Roberta Scott
Roberta has been with Toronto EMS for 22
years, 17 as a Level 3 Paramedic. Roberta has been P.R. Director
for the TPA for over 10 years now. In addition to our Board,
Roberta is also a past Director on the OPA BOD. Roberta is
very interested in increasing the profile of Toronto Paramedics
in the community thru media, political lobbying and by initiating
and supporting various fundraising/charitable events. She
believes our potential is unlimited and we are on the road
to creating a strong and respected presence in the city with
all the exciting ideas coming from the present TPA Board.
Roberta welcomes input and of course volunteers, to assist
us in making Toronto Paramedics the very high profile and
well respected profession we deserve to be. Roberta is currently
assigned to 45 stn. Red Shift.

Director– Anthony
Butera
Anthony has worked for Toronto EMS since
1994. He was elected as the Level I Representative to the
TPA Board of Directors in 2004. Anthony also sits as NW Prime
Health and Safety on TEMS Joint Health and Safety Committee,
sole Labour Member on TEMS Infection Control Committee and
is a Shop Steward for Local 416. Anthony is also a part of
the Toronto Employee Assistance Team.
His current assignment is at 14 stn. PCTU.

MacBride
Geoff has worked for TEMS as a Level 1 Paramedic since 2005.
